UHPC (Ultra-High Performance Concrete), also known as reactive powder concrete, represents the most innovative cement-based engineering material over the past three decades, achieving a significant leap in the performance of engineering materials.

The differences between UHPC and ordinary concrete include: no coarse aggregate is used, silica fume and fibers (steel fibers or composite organic fibers) must be used, the cement content is relatively high, and the water-binder ratio is very low.

The design theory of UHPC is the densified particle packing theory, where particles of different diameters in its constituent materials are packed most closely in an optimal ratio. That is, the gaps between millimeter-sized particles (aggregates) are filled with micrometer-sized particles (cement, fly ash, and mineral powder), and the gaps between micrometer-sized particles are filled with submicron-sized particles (silica fume).

UHPC boasts exceptional performance and a lightweight structure, eliminating the need for additional reinforcement such as steel bars. It enables thinner sections and longer spans, offering a lightweight and elegant appearance. It is fire- and explosion-resistant, chemically corrosion-resistant, and capable of withstanding侵害 (here translated as 'damage' in context) from various harmful substances in freeze-thaw cycles and marine environments.

It reduces cracking gaps, exhibits high initial and final setting strengths, and allows for continuous enhancement of product strength according to customer needs. Its conventional 28-day compressive strength exceeds 100MPa, and it offers superior durability.
